PAC 251/ 60 dtex/... TG - Polyacrylonitrile Short Cut Fibre

Technical fibres are the backbone of 3D concrete printing. The STW high modulus fibres are thick, robust fibres with a kidney-shaped cross-section. These properties help to increase the compressive and flexural strength of the concrete. The alkali, acid, solvent and weathering resistance of the fibre can provide long-term stability to the concrete matrix. The flowability of the concrete matrix is improved by adding PAC 251/ 60 dtex, which is essential for the 3D concrete pressure process.

PAC 251/ 2,1 dtex/ 6 MM F - Polyacrylonitrile Short Cut Fibre

Our PAC 251/ 2,1 dtex/ 6 mm F are specifically designed for binder mixtures and top layers of asphalt, for noise minimising coverings as well as for stone mastic asphalts. It can be used for the strengthening of road bitumen and polymer modified bitumen. The high UV resistance makes them ideal for outdoor applications with direct sunlight. Additionally, the fibres have a good heat and temperature resistance. The high toughness of the fibres provide a great resistance to crack propagation.

Asphalt applications

Stewathix - Polyethylene fibre

STW offers a range of high-quality anti-sagging and thixotropic agents based on polyethylene. The brand name Stewathix® stands for highly fibrillated polyethylene fibres (fibrids) which are offered in pure form and as a compound with amorphous silica. The use of Stewathix® is very versatile. The following list shows the applications in which Stewathix® is used:
• epoxy and polyurethane resin systems
• sealants
• mastics
• trowelling and spray-applied plasters
• cold bitumen
