The task of an automatic drop seal is to ensure that the gap between the floor and the swing door is tightly closed. And it works like this: when the door is closed, the seal lowers automatically due to a release mechanism.
The bottom gap between the floor and the door closes and noise, draughts and cold no longer have a chance to enter the room. Athmer also offers a wide range of perimeter seals and an extensive range of intumescent strips providing fire, smoke, and acoustic sealing. The company has also taken safety to extremes: With smart finger protection systems that make door injuries a thing of the past.
Automatic drop seals

offers reliable protection against noise and sounds,
dust, dirt, and unpleasant draughts. And it works like

Perimeter seals
solutions for a wide range of gap sizes, fixing locations
and applications. This includes rebated, self-adhesive
and surface-mounted options for both door stops and
frame reveals. Some seals act as compression seals,
shaped so that they compress against the door when it
is closed. Others perform as a sweep seal, sweeping
against the door edge as the door moves into a closed
position.
Intumescent seals & hardware protection
abundance of fire-rated door systems, including both
PVC-encapsulated and flexible intumescent door edge
seals and intumescent glazing seals for fire rated vision
panel applications. Intumescent seals are designed to
expand under heat and close the gaps around doors in
support of a fire door’s integrity.
